2. Car Seat or Stroller if they haven't purchased one yet

4. Diaper bag
5. Baby carrier
6. High chair
7. Blankets, lots and lots of them!

These are just a few ideas.  If the mother is going to breast feed the baby, breast pump and pillow would also be great additions!
